ADD MORE SPICE TO YOUR LIFE

Riyadh, the capital and economic center of Saudi Arabia, is full of people from neighboring Bahrain, who have come in search of opportunity. That’s why many of them love places serving traditional Bahraini cuisine — it brings them back to their roots.

In a series of prints for the Bahraini restaurant Matroos, we went back to the roots of Bahraini cuisine itself: the spices. We hand-crafted the logo in each visual using one of the three most characteristic spices: sumac, turmeric, and garam masala.

And with a direct message, we reminded everyone in Riyadh to “spice up” their lives by tasting the dishes of Matroos.
